I have some applications where I am utilizing JSch library.
I have been asked about whether the crypto library we are using (JSch) is FIPS Validated.
Does JSch produce a FIPS Validated version of the JSch crypto library? Similar to the
FIPS version of the openssl library? If not, I think this is something that JSch should offer.
FIPS Validation is necessary for nearly all government agencies in the U.S. and Canada
The current standard is FIPS 140-2: http://csrc.nist.gov/groups/STM/cmvp/standards.html#02
